Cisco Aironet Series Access Points - Latest Versions


The new access points are designed to enable seamless connections with a 30 percent boost in performance.  Using multiple spatial streams and 4 antennae helps to eliminate access location problems.  Some have a card that can be inserted enabling 3G as well.  With Cisco's $1.2 Billion buyout of Meraki, expect better tools shortly to manage your wireless devices.




Cisco Aironet 3600 Series 

Highlights

  1.  An  802.11n access point that supports 4x4 multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) with three spatial streams for better performance
  2.  Modular design supports Wireless Security and Spectrum Intelligence, 802.11ac or Cisco 3G Small Cell modules
  3. Cisco ClientLink 2.0 boosts performance for all clients. including legacy and 802.11n clients
